Different. Singer sounds a bit like Terry Reid on this one
unique sounds, love it!

Thank you! It’s hard to find this on music sites.

Wow haven't heard this in 30 years. My friend just sent it to me.
A wonderful guitar sólo.
Eric Clapton: "I was insulted when they sent this recording to me to hear." Ouch!!
A superbly beautiful composition!
The fingers of the great master!
Proof that less is more…
It's sad that Eric had to be so harsh. Brian played Brian, and Eddie played Eddie, there's nothing wrong with that. It would've been wrong for those guys to emulate somebody else. The intent was pure admiration and respect. Kind of a dick move on Clapton's part, not to at least give thanks and appreciation. Nothing wrong with different styles, it's just that this is Clapton's wheelhouse and not theirs. If Clapton tried to do a tribute to Queen or VH, it would've sounded just as out of place, but would've still been interesting. Tasteless response by Clapton.
I tend to agree. I know a guy who has been recently considered a legend in a different musical genre. His genre is nothing complex like jazz or metal. Still, i heard him in a small radio interview and he bashed EVERY artist's/band's new material in general, saying "I think everything sucks, these days. Nothing sounds good to me." He was at my place one day and i played him (tried to play him) someone's original song that i had reworked. As soon as the first notes were heard, he looked disgusted and said, "Take it off. Take it off. It effing sucks." He didn't even want to hear the original tune nor the changes i made in a different recording. As if 8 minutes of his time would ruin his life. This goes to show you "the ego" and how some "legends" handle theirs.
@@robbiedaug interesting, thx for sharing.
@@amadeus2499 What is more interesting is how you covered Henley and Eagles and Stones' songs without them being taken down. What's up?? These guys halt all covers.
@@robbiedaug are you sure they halt covers? i thought it was just original recordings
@@amadeus2499 No i think they block their songs period.. It seems you are lucky. Rick Beato talked about this blocking thing. It's got me scared to upload stuff.
12 bar blues is a poor choice. Brian May sounds better playing leads on this, and Eddie's tone is scratchy and not so good. Eddie is no blues player, that's for sure.
it's truly criminal that Happy The Man didn't ascend to the heights of fame - or at least Prog-fame. So original and creative. Thank goodness for Iancu re-posting these incredible songs.
In 1977-78, I played this entire album hundreds of times. Their arpeggiating style and structure affected my own playing, to the point that every song I play has that sort of bouncy thing going on guitar. It got glued into my brain, and there's nothing I can do about it.
like it... 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Todd is still the king of DIY rock and roll.
great song
Awesome track
Mimicking notes without feel.
Sometimes when we add feel, we just make a face, and throw our heads back. At that point the visual mutes the audio. lol
Eddie just simply played it Van Halen style. Brian played it May style and Eric listened to it Clapton style.
Dreadful. Clapton was right. Van Halen was a great guitar player but he couldn't play the blues and he didn't have much rhythm either.
You could've just said, "I know nothing about music" and left it at that.
@@777zippy777 You're one of those sad individuals who can't face the truth. I understand.
@@erikkillmonger5624 You're one of those abject morons who think EVH "didn't have much rhythm". 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@777zippy777😂
Stupidest comment award winner right there!... Eddie could slay the blues like no one else and his rhythm playing was and IS untouchable and some of the most complex rhythms in rock ......smh 🤔😂
acabo de conocer esta banda y este tema es genial!!! me suscribo 💪💪💪
Good Griffoen riding music
Blues Rock From the 80s bites Hard…. Both these guys were top notch metallers and they blew it by over recording over the top blues wibbling
As a Musician and Claptonilogist, I would have to say this really sucks.
I agree
Very beautiful!
This is one of the greatest albums ever. I have The Second Earth book, only wish I had this on vinyl to complete my collection.
Excellent use of a vocoder to add expressive texture control. 👍👍👍
Oh yea glam rock!!!!
hello I'm the first commenter.
This man stole a soundtrack from my brain. Great job ❤
Phil Collin’s on percussion, how’d you pull that off?
Wouldn't be surprised if Greenslade knows him personally.
Love this song! ❤🤘🏻🎶🎵🎶🎵
Genial🎉🎉🎉

Excelente me gusta mucho este álbum es una maravilla completa ♥️🇻🇪
Interesting album
Colombia
Man the guy who made that art has to be on drugs. Lol Badass though. GG
Strangely enough, I enjoyed this and could hear different streams of the music, which was great because I'd seen the list of the band members and the instruments they used.
This is so cool!
Me ha encantado este álbum! Me hizo sentir vivir en los '70s y eso que nací en 1983 recién...
En 5:45 casi empieza Misión Imposible
Nice song
